Finally a class for kids!!! All ages from 8 years and up are welcome. We will be doing an adorable 6" baby doll. Everything is included, even the brushes, pizza & juice for lunch. You bring nothing to class & you will go home with the tools you use in class including an instruction guide to refer to if you decide to do more dolls after the class. This is completely kid safe as we will be heating our dolls in an oven not with a heat gun. We will not do any hair rooting in this class. This date has been chosen due to our local school board having a professional development day.

Personalize your Christmas tree this year with beautiful ornaments featuring your Grandchildren, Children or pictures from the past. What an excellent and affordable gift to give as well! This class will include all the supplies and you may bring us 6 pictures to do 6 ornaments. It is fun and so easy! *please note* the picture shown here is Michele Barrow Belisles’ Reborn dolls (we have used it as a great example of what you can do!) |

This has quickly become our most popular class....so hurry and register for the next date as it will fill quickly! Dawn McLeod loves to sit at her desk and make babies. Babies out of clay that is! In July of 2007 her talents were discovered by the Ashton-Drake Galleries through her OOAK (one of a kind) baby doll listings on ebay. There is a series of her mini 5" babies due out in the spring of 2008. Dawn has also had one of her earlier sculpts featured in the March 08’ issue of Contemporary Doll Collector magazine. Now she is willing to share her passion with you! We will be sculpting a 5" Poseable Sleeping Baby in this course. This is an all inclusive course...Dawn will have outfits available to purchase at the end of the class.

Cheryl Bage is passionate about her doll making! We are proud that Cheryl not only is our "in house" teacher at the store but is also the editor of LifeLike Doll magazine. We have decided to run a regular "work bee" approximately once a month for doll making! Don’t wait until the last minute as we are only allowing 6 students per session to keep it cozy and relaxed!
Just what is a "Reborn Baby" you ask? Reborn Doll making is the fascinating new art of taking a vinyl baby doll, and enhancing it using repainting techniques, to create the look and feel of a real live baby. The results are simply amazing and the dolls are very often mistaken for actual infants.
We will be using the Secrist Doll Kits in this course, so you may call us and we can discuss which baby you would like to create!
All Inclusive except paint brushes & clothing Next session will be Saturday August 23. |
